I’ve never really had all that much respect for Michael Bay as I have long maintained that his movies are mostly explosions, special effects and gimmicks. In fact I have a whole section in my “presentation on presentations” that talks about why you shouldn’t lean so heavily on distracting visual elements vs story. Basically, if Michael Bay was a presentation software, he’d be prezi, which opitimises all of the above.
In any case he had a meltdown at CES when the teleprompter he was reading of malfunctioned. Pretty unbelievably the question that threw him off was “What inspires you? How do you come up with these unbelievable ideas?”
Two things on this:
A) If you do something for a living, and are passionate about it, you shouldn’t need a teleprompter to answer that question.
and
B) If you are being paid to be there (presumably by Samsung) be a fupping professional and prepare for something to go wrong
